Once a friend told me that she believes Matt has a team of hidden tiny elves that work for him behind the scenes. That is because Matt does ALOT of things WELL and seems to always have a full tank of energy.
He brings his energy, unmatched patience, and impressive relatability to children, to all his sessions.
No, you can't keep him after the session, we need him back at home to help manage our trio of boys!
A creative, techy, tree-loving Dad of three, Matt serves as both Photographer & Editor for Matt & Marie Photography.
Matt began his photography career on film over 18 years ago and served as the Official Photographer for Dream Take Flight- Toronto from 2014-2019.
A professional child wrangler- aka mama of three boys. A once upon a time wanderer, and an absolute enthusiast for documenting family life in photo + film.
I can usually be found on a nature trail, hanging out (sleeping) on my yoga mat, or dancing in the kitchen to offset some of the chaos that happens after 6 pm when you have three boys 5 and under.
Photography has been my creative outlet for over 15 years. I have photographed hundreds of families and over 300 newborn babies in my Georgetown based home-studio.
Partners for almost 19 years, we have lived and traveled abroad together, creating a home on three different continents.
Filling our adventurous hearts (and passports) before starting our family not far from where we grew up. Funny how life can take us full circle.
We have been photographing Families & Couples together for 14 years, and have had many clients turn into friends.

Dreams Take Flight is a national non-profit organization consisting of volunteer Air Canada employees and community volunteers dedicated to providing the trip-of-a-lifetime to medically, mentally, physically, socially or emotionally challenged children. The local sponsors and volunteers believe that we can make a major difference in these children’s lives by opening a window of possibilities without limitations.
Dreams Take Flight has taken over 25,000 children to the happiest place on earth – the Magic Kingdom in both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. There, they experience the wonder of friendship and magic. Our goal is to help them forget their troubles for one incredible day and to provide them with a lifetime of memories.
