Documentary Family Sessions
Your home + Your family + Your real moments = Your Story
This is your Family Story and I am honored to document it.
These sessions can take place in and around your home, backyard and can incorporate a favourite family adventure.
Think kitchen dance parties, family cuddles, making breakfast, playing games, reading books, spending time as a family in the way that tells your story. Maybe it is none of the above. Your story is what is true and important to your family, and I am just there to capture all the fun as it rolls out.
So let’s hang out and document the everyday beauty of your family story, in all its wonderful chaos.
2-hour session, 60 edited images, print release, online gallery.
A documentary session is a little different than your typical family photos.
The simple, raw, and beautiful moments that happen in family life. These are the times that are fleeting, the pull at your heart-string moments that capture this stage in your family life authentically.
The photos that tell the real story of this season in your family life.
"Marie is an amazing and talented photographer. She has a unique ability to capture the beauty in the everyday moments we often take for granted...a hug, a smile, a dance party in the kitchen, or a story after dinner. In addition to her photos, we had seen the videos she created of other families and thought they were so beautiful...but words cannot describe just how full our hearts were when we saw the incredible video she made of our family. Marie has a gift for capturing the most precious moments and we couldn’t have been happier with her works!"

"Marie did a family story session for us this summer and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. It was so fun having her in our home for the photos to capture all of the little moments that happen in our day-to-day lives. Having these photos to look back at this stage of our lives is such a gift. Marie made us all feel so relaxed and was so good with the kids. She is so talented and we’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for this type of documentary-style photography."
